Two best friends had long dreamed of a life closer to nature — one that embraced the sea, tropical weather, and a kind of magic you rarely find elsewhere. With that in mind, we made the bold decision to leave behind the familiar and make Popoyo, Nicaragua, our home.

When we arrived, everything clicked. We envisioned a farm where we could grow organic vegetables — raw, high-quality ingredients that would allow us to create simple, elevated meals where the produce itself shines. Popoyo offered the perfect balance: peaceful seclusion, proximity to the ocean, and surf breaks so uncrowded they felt like a dream.

What started with the land quickly became a bigger vision. We selected a location surrounded by 100-year-old mango trees and designed Po Popoyo — a boutique collection of villas built with minimalist architecture, sustainable systems, and uncompromising attention to quality. A place where breathtaking views and quiet luxury exist in harmony.

Before Po Popoyo, we had already founded Caja Orgánica, our organic farm that supplies fresh produce daily to our guests and supports the local community. We also work with nearby families through fair trade practices and buy their goods weekly, helping sustain livelihoods and encouraging organic agriculture. Beyond farming, our mission is rooted in education and environmental stewardship.

For those who stay with us, Po Popoyo is more than just a place to sleep — it’s an experience. Each villa includes a private pool, rooftop stargazing deck, chef’s kitchen, air conditioning, hot showers, and a king-sized bed designed for deep, restful sleep. Every detail is powered by the sun, and every stay is nourished by the land.
