The place captivated us with its charm; we wanted to be close to the ocean, but not so close that it overwhelmed the sense of tranquility we sought. And then, the incredible waves we encountered—untouched by the usual crowds—sealed the deal. Surfing perfect, uncrowded waves became a daily reminder of why we chose this paradise.

Popoyo’s endless horizon of ocean beauty made it easy to breathe, both figuratively and literally. The sea inspired us daily, but we quickly realized that life by the ocean isn’t just as idyllic as in the pictures. We wanted to design a space where breathtaking views and ultimate comfort meet, leading us to select a location surrounded by 100-year-old mango trees. Our minimalist architectural design embraces uncompromising quality, with every aspect carefully considered for environmental sustainability.

Po Popoyo became our dream project, the heart of our new life, and our source of livelihood. At the same time, we founded Caja Orgánica, our organic farm. This farm is more than just a source of vegetables—it’s a project that supports our local community. We work closely with local families, ensuring that they benefit from fair trade practices, and we buy their goods to help sustain them.

One of our core beliefs in moving to a developing country was the importance of giving back. With Caja Orgánica, our goal extends beyond just farming. We aim to raise awareness about organic growing methods and environmental protection through education and outreach, fostering a better future for the local community.
